Simply…to die for

above is a nice classic dress. its also longer than usual which is sort of a new thing right now. this is another one of my faves.

this dress has an unusual neck but because of the color scheme it looks great.

this lace has a lot going on but i really like it. the pink and blue match the accents throughout this dress and the lace next to that calms it all down and looks gorgeous. the first lace (next to the pink and blue) is more of a classic. so its a nice mix of 'the old' and 'the new'.

on this piece i just loosened the stitches on the shoulder because of a tight fitting. the pattern on this dress stand out to me but they also are calm and not too overpowering at the same time.

this is one of my favorites; i love everything about this one. even though there is no detailed lace or beaded work or the usual things that make you fall in love with a dress, the patterns on this one come together and look amazing!

these days longer dresses are popular. i don't know why...but I'm not really a fan. maybe its because I'm 5ft to begin with. so when i wear one of those i look even shorter!!
but anyways! this dress has a very detailed lace running down either side. the lace on the sleeves i haven't really before until recently. it was two plain colored laces at the bottom of the sleeve and a ruffled edge. i personally don't really love the ruffles..it takes away from the actual lace on the mid dress. the bottom of the dress is a duplicate of the lace on the sleeves

This piece didn't need much work. the zipper was broken so i just replaced it with a nice teal one to match. Love the collar on this one! it's very hard to find those kinds of collars. i would make it myself but i cant find the pattern either!

hello readers! sorry about that gap in my writing. these days, business is Booming! i have been swamped in work so i haven't been able to write as much but i did make sure to take lots of pictures. sorry about the quality in some of the pics, my camera is being weird these days. as you can see in some of the pictures the backgrounds are sort of peculiar. you can see a car, a tire, shoes, garage doors and some other odd things. this is because my work space in actually in my garage! but i make it work ;) I'll do a work space blog post soon so make sure to check back here soon...anyways, lets get started! so what i have for you today are a couple of designs that my costumers have brought in. these particular dresses are very "in" right now! i thought they were SO gorgeous. they're simply to die for.

i have described some of the dresses above, what i fixed, what i didn't. things like that. so i hope it was helpful to all you awesome sewers out there. if you have any questions or requests please comment below! hope you enjoyed :)

Sincerely, Yasmeen
